Helping improve the world's largest resource is central to our mission and shapes our strategy, but until recently data has been sparse or unavailable.  We make collecting information about water easy and affordable so that environmental health can be monitored and improved.

By building autonomy that allows individual or teams of watercraft to collect data in a range of marine environments, Platypus makes it possible to collect more information, more cheaply about water. Whether on our own platforms, with our own technicians collecting the data, or building autonomy for other platforms, Platypus is dedicated to bringing autonomy to the water.
