The Felis delivers the same autonomous capabilities as the Lutra and Serval series, but boasts a larger frame that ensures water and weather conditions are not a issue. Two powerful drive shafts propel the slender hulls across the surface, reaching maximum speeds of up to 30km/h.

As Platypus' only watercraft that is built to withstand the rigours of the ocean, the Felix is capable of navigation of up to four foot waves. Its two crossbeams support up to 100kg of sensor equipment, ensuring survey grade data can be collected. The Felis can be quickly dissembled into four sections, ensuring it can be transported and reassembled with minimal down time.
